THOMAS ALCH
Prior to joining the Law Offices of Dr. Bruce G. Fagel & Associates in 1997, Mr. Alch defended physicians, hospitals and health care corporations in medical malpractice cases. Since joining the firm and switching his specialization to exclusively represent plaintiffs, Mr. Alch has become a substantial asset to the firm. His defense experience is invaluable to the firm's representation of injured plaintiffs, as his extensive knowledge of the strategies used by insurance companies, HMOs and defense attorneys provides him and our clients with a distinct advantage.
Legal Responsibilities and Accomplishments
Mr. Alch's entire career has been devoted to litigating medical malpractice and medical device cases. His specialties are representing plaintiffs in brain injury, birth injury, cancer, wrongful death and other catastrophic injury cases. Since joining the Fagel law Firm, Mr. Alch has obtained over $180 million in recoveries for the firm's clients, including one of the largest medical malpractice settlements in Nevada history and several of the largest medical malpractice settlements in California history.

Mr. Alch is licensed to practice law in both California and Nevada, allowing the firm to expand its focus and pursue cases on behalf Nevada residents as well.
Background
Mr. Alch graduated from UCLA in 1985 with a Bachelor's Degree in History. After receiving his J.D. Degree from Loyola Law School in 1988, he was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1988 and the State Bar of Nevada in 1999. Mr. Alch is also an advocate for patients both within and outside the courtroom. In 2001, Mr. Alch was an invited speaker on many Nevada radio programs, promoting the passage of federal legislation to benefit and protect patient's rights.
